Vocial is a voice-first platform built around a simple idea: voice will play an increasingly important role in how we communicate with each other and with technology.
At its core is micropodcasting — an easy way to record and share thoughts, stories, ideas, and conversations without the setup and complexity of traditional podcasting. Pick up your phone, record, and put your voice out there.
People can discover and follow voices, respond through voice comments, continue conversations privately, or share posts anywhere with a public link. And for ideas that need more than a few minutes, Vocial Studio extends the platform to long-form audio.
Vocial is designed as more than just an app. It's a platform for sharing and discovering human voices, built for a future where voice becomes a more natural part of how we communicate.

For the past 25 years, most of my time has been spent working with layers and pixels — but just as much of it went into ./configure, make, and make install, wrestling with frontends, databases, and backends along the way.
My first steps into UI design came through open-source projects, especially KDE applications. That's where I learned to think about interfaces as systems, designing with KHTML — a technology that later evolved into what we now know as WebKit.
Over the years, I've worked on digital products — from early concepts and branding to shipped apps used by millions. Along the way, my wife Jelena and I built Pudding Studio, our independent design and product studio and a home for the things we wanted to create on our own terms.
Vocial was born there.
We believe voice will play an increasingly important role in how people communicate with each other and with technology. Vocial is our take on what a platform built around that future could look like — shaped by decades of design, technology, experimentation, and a fascination with how people communicate.
It's ambitious, carefully crafted, and deeply personal. And in many ways, it feels like everything I've worked on over the years has been leading to it.
