Well, I had a call out of work last night because I have an issue with my right foot. It bothered me last night at work, Wednesday night at work, well our Wednesday actually. I'm work third shift by the way. And it caused me a lot of pain. When I got home and got off my foot for a brief period of time, it let up and then it came back again. It's kind of let up again now. I'm hoping it stays let up to where I can go to work tonight. I'm worried it's gout. Many years ago I had what they thought was a stress fracture in my foot, simply because I was young, played a lot of pickup sports and all of that, and played in some really bad shoes. Didn't have a lot of money back when I was growing up. My mom had to buy, and I have really big feet, I have size 15 quadruple E feet. And they're flat. It's not a great combination. I'm a big guy as well, so it could very well be gout, but I'm hoping it's not. It sucks because I have been, I've had to use all my vacation days up because of illnesses. I had the flu earlier this year, as well as a really bad bout of bronchitis that damn near turned into pneumonia. That took me forever to get over. And now this, it's just been a rough year. I really worry about my health sometimes, and it's a situation that I turned 55 this year and I'm not like I was even 10 years ago. Get up and go is gone up and left. I'm just hoping to make it to retirement age. Will there even be a social security by the time I retire? They're talking about it's running out in 20, was it 2031? I get to retire as early as 2033 when I turn 62. And that's scary because I may need to retire and there may not be money enough in the social security fund. How the hell did this come to pass? We pay every week or every paycheck in the social security fund expecting it to be there when we're, and all these idiots who go, we don't need social security, it's a Ponzi scheme. It was meant to be that way. It was meant for those of us currently working, paying for those of us, those who've already retired so that the kids that we have are coming up behind us will pay for our retirement. It's a situation where it's supposed to be that way. But idiots, quote unquote libertarians, unquote, want to get rid of it because they don't like it. Doesn't matter how good it is, doesn't matter how much good it's done, doesn't matter the reasons why it was put in there to begin with, they don't like it so they want to get rid of it because it doesn't gel with their idea of what this country should be about. That's why I don't really like libertarians. Really don't like them. Because they want little to no government. Well the problem is that we have a corporate run state now thanks to that. Instead of a government that is strong enough to be a fair barter between corporations and the customers and employees and the average citizens, now we've got a government that's basically at the hand and foot of the corporations. So that's why social security is in trouble, because the corporations want us to work until we die. Not because it's practical, but because certain rich libertarians get their jollies off of it.
