What's up, everyone? It's Auntie Sunflower and today we're going to talk about snail mail. So snail mail is just Cards and letters handwritten or you know purchase that you send in the mail with a stamp

Now I love snail mail. I love getting snail mail. I love sending out snail mail I send out what's called happy mail and It's basically just a card or a letter that I thought was pretty or whatever or I get fancy paper and

I always seal my envelopes with a sticker or like a wax seal I'm kind of an old soul that way. I Mean if you have I have an address book I Love Getting cards. I love sending cards I think it just makes people day because I believe that The cards and the letters they get to the people when they need them the most

I've had many times where I've sent a card out and it hasn't gotten to the person hasn't gotten to the person and then that person had a death in the family or Something tragic happened and the card showed up on that day So I think the cards have a way of getting to the people exactly when they need to do them

Now I'm not saying a text isn't nice to check in or a call but a handwritten letter takes a lot more thought and It takes a lot more time and it's personalized Because I can go to AI and say hey get me a text

That's or get me a text that says, you know, I love you. I'm thinking about you all that stuff but a handwritten letter you are Engaging every part of your brain and you are sending something so special and personalized

That it matters and it makes people's day And don't get me wrong I love getting a good text hey, how are you thinking about you all that I love all that stuff But it's a lost skill to write letters my grandmother

Will call her grandma sunflower She used to write letters when somebody was sick when it was their birthday If they were going through something if they were dealing with something there was a letter There was a card and she always wrote one like like a really fancy cursive So I couldn't always heard it cuz I'm a little you know Dyslexic, but she it was the most beautiful cursive and she would take time and she would pray over the letter and she would send

I Know these talks are getting more and more random and that's okay She my grandmother grandma sunflower she that's not her name that's just what we're calling her because you know She's passed. God rest her soul

And I don't really want to give out her name or anything So she's gonna be grandma sunflower whenever I refer to her and then my grandfather will be grandpa sunflower Okay But she always knew if somebody was going through something and she knew exactly what card to send them she knew exactly You know

What to send them? I think we need to get back to writing snail mail. I Think and I have a challenge for all of you tonight Or today if you're in a different time zone than it's today or tomorrow If you're in the Eastern Standard time zone like I am it's 930 950 at night

My challenge is to you is to find somebody's address Not creepily on the internet somebody, you know Find somebody's address that you know and send them a card send them a letter send them. I Don't know send them a picture send them something

Because you never know whose life you're gonna impact When you send them a letter or a card And to know that you're thinking about that person. They're gonna be like, whoa This person I may not have talked to in a while, but she's been on my mind and you might start something

I Just got done tonight. I just got done with about I'd say seven seven cards and letters for different people But yeah make somebody's day do something nice for people pay for somebody's groceries If you can if you can't don't do it

Take care of somebody's kids, you know, do whatever you can to make people's lives better. All right Love always auntie sunflower God bless you everyone
