Well, the British have a new Prime Minister. Well, about to have a new Prime Minister. His name is going to probably be Andy Burnham, unless I have... I've been asleep pretty much all morning here in the United States, East Coast of the United States. So, um... When I went to bed this morning, Andy Burnham looked like he was going to be the only guy running to replace Sir Keir Starmer as Prime Minister of Great Britain. As the Labour leader resigned, and Andy Burnham has thrown his hat in the ring to become the next Labour leader in... Labour Party leader in the United Kingdom. Um... I listened to British radio this morning, LBC by the way. There's speculation two others whose gentleman I can't remember right off hand. Um... And it got me thinking. Donald Trump could never... come up in British politics like Farage has. A lot of people like to compare the two. Farage, in my opinion, isn't as devious and selfish and greedy and as sociopathical as Trump is. Um... I'd take Farage over Trump any day of the week for one simple reason. Trump... Farage is in better health. He's younger. We don't worry about his mental capacities, except we... A lot of folks don't like him. I don't particularly like him. He comes off to me as a used car salesman trying to... And I don't trust him as far as I could throw him. Or throw the British Parliament. Um... Trump, on the other hand... Here's the thing. It's easy to bash Trump. The problem is he gives people so much to want to criticize him about because... this is someone who... is clearly being used by other people... to advance their agenda. And I've said this time and time and time again. In British politics, a Trump would never have made it as far as he has. He might have gotten elected an MP. He might have been a minister. But he never would have been a leader. Um... The problem is in the United States... we tend to love celebrities. We tend to trust celebrities way too much. And... we also tend to go and say, Well, I don't like politics. I don't like this and the other. And I'm like... You elected a man who has never served up until January 20th, 2017. He has never served in a political office in any capacity whatsoever. He was considered one of the worst presidents we ever had the first time around. He's been considered one of the worst presidents we've ever had the second time around. And this time around is a whole lot worse. But I've said this before. Trump's not the problem. It's the people closest to his inner circle that are using him for their own agendas that I worry about. Because... they're the ones they've got to keep an eye on. And I think in the next podcast I'm about to do here in just a moment, I'm going to explain this in further detail.
