Disappointment Over America's Political Landscape
Show transcript

all right I'm really kind of bummed out about the fact that this was supposed to be a really big year with the World Cup and America's 250th anniversary of the independence this year and it's all been spoiled by one person we all know who that person is and a lot of people are around where I live at by the way it's where I live it's really heavily Trump Trump supporters and all that here's the problem a lot of people don't realize that Trump is all about Trump but the problem is is a lot of people that are in his inner circle are using Trump for their own purposes Trump's a figurehead he doesn't even realize he's a figurehead they let him do his thing they let him do his rants they let him but there's gonna come a time when they're gonna pull the rug out from under him and he will no longer be useful for these these people that's why JD Vance is the vice president he is someone that is a perfect person to take over because he'll do what he's told but from these people he knows he can't win on his own he doesn't have that personal charisma that Trump has but he has the people in place to basically make it to where he could be president but he has to basically do what the bidding of these benefactors like Peter Thiel Elon Musk Jeff Bezos the Ellisons and so many others we're living in an oligarchy we shouldn't be living in an oligarchy unfortunately we are this wasn't the intent of our independence we were supposed to get rid of stuff like that of course the reality is we replaced one aristocracy with another we still had essentially an oligarchy but the truth is is that over the course of the last century or so up until recent years we had at least a version of the fact that if you were even working-class you had the possibility of being upwardly mobile if you worked hard if you played by the rules you had a chance of being successful now that's not certain anymore because the system is in place now to keep average working folks down because they don't want average working folks to succeed they don't want them going to college and getting a better life they don't want them you know yeah they may have a small business or something like that but hey we can always buy that business out you know and for a big corporation all that the thing that pisses me off is the fact that the American dream is becoming more and more of a myth every day and I don't see that getting a better anytime soon and what's really sad is the fact that the current administration loves to gaslight us loves to lie to us but my hope is that one day we'll wake up realize what's really going on and stop this madness. That's it for now.
