Well, hasn't this been a real bitch of a week. We lost Dolly Parton, we lost Tim Curry, and we lost Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime and Transformers. Yeah, it sucks. It's been a bad week. Of course, Dolly Parton being the legend that she is, irreplaceable. We throw the word legend around a lot. For Dolly, calling Dolly Parton a legend is an understatement. I feel like the same way I did when Queen Elizabeth died. It's like, she's been there my entire life, a constant presence, and now she's gone. And it's like, I'm 55 years old and there's always been a Dolly Parton, now there's not a Dolly Parton. How do we keep going on? And then Tim Curry, phenomenal actor. I mean, the list of phenomenal performances, both comedic, musical, and dramatic. I mean, you could easily say calling him a legend is an understatement as well. The man was brilliant in everything he did, from the stage, to the screen, to even audio performances on the radio. I mean, Peter Cullen, if you know Transformers, the cartoon series, not the movies. Although he was in the movies, if I'm not mistaken. I wasn't big into Transformers, still I'm not, but I do know of the show, and the guy had a hell of a voice. Voice acting is just as maybe harder than regular acting, because all you're using is your voice. But Dolly Parton, I mean, I'll be honest with you. Back in the 80s, they actually showed Best Little Whorehouse in Texas on television. And being a little preteen myself, I watched it, much to my mother's chagrin, and I think that's when I hit puberty. Because Dolly Parton was one of those people I crushed on, along with Linda Carter, and a few others. Aaron Gray off of Buck Rogers, and Katherine Bach as Daisy Duke on Dukes of Hazzard, even though I'm not a huge fan of the show, I watched it mainly for her. But Dolly Parton, yeah, definitely. She was crush worthy. And, I mean, what can I say? The woman could sing her heart out, had a tremendous heart, and probably did more for this country than any politician past or present ever has really done. I mean, she was the very definition of a philanthropist. I mean, they're going to be remembering Dolly Parton 80 years after this passing. So yeah, I mean, she's going to be remembered for decades to come. She may arguably be the greatest country singer of all time, although I'm sure that'll be hotly debated. I'm not a country music aficionado, but I did appreciate her musical talent. And of course, back in her prime, she was definitely easy on the eyes. I mean, if you remember from the 70s and 80s and 90s, you know, do I have to even go on? Plus, she was very much not a dumb blonde. She was very smart, very business savvy. Tim Curry, the man's a legend. I mean, it's been a sad, sucky week. And hopefully next week will be even better, will be better. So with, you know, 2026, yeah, stop it already.
