So Friday is the 25th anniversary of 9-11 and everybody's gonna be asking where were you when it happened? Well I was asleep. I slept through the whole thing. I was working third shift at the time. I came home about 630 that morning

and I watched Raw on a video on a videotape that I had. Remember VCRs from back in the day? Well I watched it and I was basically watching it just to get to sleep and I had my internet going on dial-up. Remember that? And I was

downloading stuff. Okay songs but you know that's 25 years. I think that the whatchamacallits over with statute of limitations you know. Okay anyhow I went to sleep about 830. My mom was at my sister's. My sister had just gone into

on her maternity leave. She was gonna have my niece about a month later. What's crazy is that I literally slept through the whole thing. I went to bed about 830. Nobody could call me. I didn't have the TV. I didn't have a radio on or anything

like that. I get up and I go to my I have a chair in front of my TV where my computer was. A nice little setup and I turn on the TV expecting to be on ESPN because I had watched a little bit of ESPN to catch the score of the Monday night game because I had not watched it and ABC News was on and the World Trade Center towers were smoking. A plane had crashed. I didn't know until

later on when they actually said it that the towers had actually collapsed. They were constantly replaying the same stuff over and over again. I was so sleepy and I was kind of like in a daze. I was like what the hell is this?

It dawned on me oh crap we've been attacked. This is this is huge. I go through my emails and I go through I used to be a big I used to watch go to FARK.com back then. They had a lot of serious news but a lot of fun news stories back back then. I don't even know if it's still around to be honest. I hadn't been there in years and it was insane. I'm sitting

there going through the whole thing. I go on my computer. My download had actually completed shockingly enough. It didn't get interrupted because downloads back then on dial-up took forever you know. Whereas today seconds okay.

Anyhow I'm kind of like everybody else. I'm kind of honked off shocked and all this. I go into work that night. Everybody is pissed. There were most I don't think there was like a whole lot of I know you might one or two women that worked there but it was mainly mostly mostly guys. If they had seen a Muslim

guy that night anywhere they would have been murdered. That's how mad they were. They didn't care what their opinion was. It was that bad. They were they were livid. The whole week everybody was just so pissed off and ready to jump down I even think somebody probably even volunteered for the army. I don't they claim they were gonna do it but I don't think they ever actually did it because it was one of those situations where I look back at that I go wow that was an insane week and it's hard to believe it's been 25 years
