And this is take 3. I did a recording previously but I noticed the sound was breaking up, probably because I am using my airpods and I do have some sound issues lately, meaning my sound is breaking up when I record or when I go with people. So I am trying this again by having my airpods disconnected and connected again.
But this message is addressed to my good friend Eloistic. I was listening to your recording earlier and I noticed you were surprised by the term dutch angle. And the dutch angle is when the camera is intentionally tilted sideways, so the horizon,
and vertical lines no longer look level. Instead of the world sitting straight in the frame, everything leans. And filmmakers use it to make a scene feel uneasy, unstable, strange or psychologically off balance even.
And in the example image I have attached the buildings, streetlights and road all lean diagonally. That tells your brain very quietly that something feels a little wrong. And yes, we dutch people, we like to use this angle in photography and filmmaking.
