I keep noticing that the things I'm most drawn to are rarely the things I was looking for. A paper, a strange sentence, something buried in a tool update, a pattern that suddenly connects to something from weeks ago.
And then I'm gone, down another tunnel. And sometimes I think I should be more focused, more organized, maybe stop opening so many doors at once. But every time I try to force the path into a straight line, it gets less interesting.
And the strange part is that later, things connect anyway. Something I saved because it felt important suddenly belongs beside something completely different, and a shape appears that I couldn't have planned.
And maybe that's what I'm really doing. Not collecting information, but leaving little markers for a version of me who hasn't reached that thought yet. Which sounds very poetic for someone who currently has about 40 mental traps open.
Anyway, I think I'm going to sleep before I open another one, because last night I only had two hours of sleep, so yeah.
