Well, here it is, 1.50 in the afternoon and Grok 4.7 came out today and seems to be a little smarter, a little more, more agentic. It's supposed to be a lot more efficient on Grokbot, which is nice because I already burnt through all my tokens, but the interesting thing was when I asked the shop desk today

to put a, essentially pre-prompt the new job session so I could have it draw a new drawing from a scan, I was reading through it and it actually instructed the session to draw it in mosaic, essentially like I do, and so I just let it go do its thing and I worked

on the other computer and did some stuff while it was doing that. And it got most of the way there, you can see where I've got to add a few more instruction sets to get it to be able to fix its stuff, but I didn't instruct it to do any additional stuff. What I did do though is at the end of it, I told it to go look at what I added and see what I completed on it so that it would know essentially what it took to make the job.

So we'll see, since today's the first day of 4.7, we'll see how it progresses. I've noticed each time they've made an upgrade on one of these models, it is able to do larger portions of the work and I was able to actually do, from a hand drawing that Brett gave me,

build some models in SketchUp, or excuse me, Blender, so using all open source tools, and render some. I finally was able to find the drawings that it rendered and it had a couple of mistakes so I decided to send the new 4.7 after it and see how it did. And so it's currently doing that right now, which gives me time to take a little walk

and process my thoughts. I'm going to be going to Las Vegas tomorrow for the print conference. We've got some interesting things going on with our Fiction Factory Squishy, that's our software side of our company.

Fiction Factory is our brand because we just make shit up. And the fun continues. The fun continues indeed. Yeah, it's been less than a year since I told Brett that I didn't know how it was going to happen, or when, but within a year, somehow, the computer will be able to do the job through

some sort of tool. And we're getting really close to it, being able to take the input and work through and finish the output. So I have a pretty consistent thing that we do, and if I can get it to help me straighten

out all the stuff that I made that was not consistent, like my naming system, then it can literally draw the rims for me, so that I can just switch my job for just income. They can keep the job, they just want the income.

And then I can go do other cool stuff with Fiction Factory, and maybe we can take the same concept and turn it into a system that can work at other cabinet shops and then we'll generate additional income streams through that, through helping them out.
