Introducing Vocial Studio
Vocial started with a simple idea: sharing your voice should be as easy as posting a photo or writing a few lines of text.
Open the app, hit record, say what you want to say, and publish. No setup, no editing software, no studio required.
That simplicity is still at the heart of Vocial.
Posts created directly in the app are designed to be short — up to five minutes. They’re perfect for quick thoughts, stories, opinions, updates, reactions, or anything else you want to share in the moment.
But not every story fits into five minutes.
When five minutes isn’t enough
Over time, we realized that some creators need more room.
Maybe you’re recording a podcast episode. A longer conversation. An interview. A story. A piece of music. A commentary you’ve already recorded and edited somewhere else.
That’s where Vocial Studio comes in.
Studio is a new place on the web for publishing long-form audio to Vocial. Instead of recording inside the app, you can upload a finished recording of up to one hour, add a title and cover, choose a category, preview your post, and publish it directly to your Vocial profile.
It brings longer-form audio to Vocial without changing what makes the core app simple.
Two ways to share your voice
The Vocial app is built for the moment.
Pick up your phone, record something, and post it. Five seconds or five minutes. It’s intentionally lightweight, immediate, and easy.
Studio is built for everything that needs a little more space.
You can prepare your recording however you like, using whatever microphone, recorder, or editing software you prefer, and bring the finished piece to Vocial when it’s ready.
There’s no need to choose one or the other. A creator can publish quick five-minute posts from their phone throughout the week and release a longer episode through Studio when they have something bigger to share.
They all live together on the same Vocial profile.
More than uploading audio
Studio also gives creators a home for understanding what happens after they publish.
You can follow how people are listening to your content, see how your posts are performing, and keep track of the conversations happening around them.
The idea is simple: give creators enough information to understand their audience without turning publishing into a dashboard full of numbers.
Your audio and your listeners remain the focus.
Long-form audio, without building another podcast platform
Traditional podcast publishing can involve hosting providers, RSS feeds, distribution platforms, dashboards, and a surprising amount of setup before anyone can actually press play.
We wanted Studio to feel different.
Upload your recording. Add the details. Publish.
Your episode immediately becomes part of Vocial, where people can discover it, listen to it, interact with it, and continue the conversation.
And because Vocial posts can be shared outside the app, your audience doesn’t need a Vocial account just to listen.
Short when it should be. Long when it needs to be.
We don’t think every voice post needs to become a podcast episode.
Sometimes thirty seconds is enough.
Sometimes you need three minutes.
And sometimes you need an hour.
Vocial now has a place for all of them.
Vocial Studio is currently in testing and available by invitation only.
